About
Papír Plojhar is a fifth-generation family stationery business - and when they opened their first concept store, they wanted a space that honoured that legacy while feeling entirely fresh.
The design takes its cue from paper itself. Rounded forms throughout the interior echo the wavy cross-section of cut cardboard, creating a playful, tactile language that runs from the shelving to the central workshop table - most of it crafted in-house from cardboard at Plojhar's own headquarters. Neutral browns and beiges define the palette, lifted by cream and subtle green accents that hint at paper's journey from tree to product. A hand-painted wavy floor and a Tyvek light installation by design duo Lappa complete the space with a sense of lightness and creative energy.
The result is a stationery shop that doesn't feel like one - a sensory, workshop-ready environment where five generations of craft meet unconventional contemporary design.
